Safeguarding Statement

Evolve Advocacy and Support is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults (referred to collectively as young people). We take all reasonable steps to protect them from neglect, as well as from sexual, emotional, or physical harm.

This safeguarding commitment applies to all paid staff, volunteers, and trustees. Everyone involved in our organisation is expected to show respect for and understanding of the rights, safety, and welfare of the young people we support, in line with the values and ethos of Evolve Advocacy and Support.

Our Commitment

We believe that all young people, regardless of:

  • Sexual orientation
  • Disability
  • Race or ethnicity
  • Nationality or country of origin

...have equal rights to protection, safety, and dignity.

This safeguarding approach includes support for:

  • Children and young people aged 11–25
  • Young families and their children
  • Vulnerable adults aged 18 and over

Policy Integration

Our safeguarding principles are embedded in our organisation through:

  • Safer recruitment practices
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing training for staff and volunteers
  • Safeguarding responsibilities for trustees and learners enrolled on courses
